Join APS staff for an introduction to the new set of resources created through the NEH CARES funded Benjamin Franklin’s American Enlightenment projects. These projects aim to enhance the understanding of scientific learning in the 18th and 19th centuries. Ranging from Franklin’s postal records to weather journals, these projects provide plenty of inspiration and resources for classrooms of all sorts.
Franklin’s founding of the APS ensured that North Americans would play a key role in the most important scientific discoveries then and now. Through primary sources and newly created digital resources, learn more about how to apply content, materials, and the legacy of this Franklin endeavor in your classroom.
This webinar is meant for classroom educators, but as we know all too well, that definition is flexible right now. Whether you are a trained teacher or find yourself teaching the kids in your home, feel free to join us and be part of the APS Educator community.
