Center wins 2nd NEH Grant

The National Endowment for the Humanities has awarded a grant for Fellowship Programs at Independent Research Institutions to the Center, supporting our postdoctoral fellowship program. This is in addition to the Challenge Grant that we were awarded in December 2013.

This second award places the consortium, now seven years old, in the company of some of the leading humanities research institutions in the country and is an important validation of the consortium's efforts working together to promote public and academic understanding of the history of science, technology and medicine.

Other awardees this year include the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles, CA, the Huntington Library in San Mateo, CA and the Newberry Library in Chicago, IL.
