Annual Garden Party

Ever wonder why there’s a satellite on 5th street in Old City? Satisfy that curiosity (and more) by coming to the APS Museum’s Annual Garden Party! The Garden Party is a free program from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. in our Jefferson Garden, located at 105 South 5th Street.  
 
Survey a variety of activities as we celebrate maps and their uses and bring a sense of discovery back to Old City. Hands-on activities for the whole family brought to you by Bartram’s Garden, Historic Philadelphia Inc., the American Philosophical Society and more.
 
Be prepared to celebrate the beginning of fall with everyone’s favorite autumnal drink, apple cider, and relax with crafts, snacks, and games!
 
This free afternoon event is appropriate for children and guests of all ages. The exhibition Mapping a Nation: Shaping the Early American Republic, located across the street in Philosophical Hall, will be open throughout the program.
