Botanica Magnifica: Photographs by Jonathan Singer

Botanica Magnifica displays the work of a contemporary photographer, Jonathan Singer, who has been deeply influenced and inspired by earlier natural history illustrators. Accordingly, the show incorporates original hand-colored engravings by Mark Catesby and John James Audubon from the collections of the New Jersey State Museum and highlights the historical, medical, and environmental significance of the plants portrayed in Singer's photographs.
