Brown Bag Lecture: Of Pixels, Prints, and Publics: The Art of Describing Images in the CHF Collections

Since September, Tianna has been researching and documenting CHF museum objects and rare books as part of the effort to digitize and consolidate these works in Hydra—CHF’s new crossdepartmental and online collections database. In her talk she will present a selection of CHF items that have been the focus of her work, and she will discuss some of the challenges of creating descriptive texts for images related to the history of science.
