One of the oldest and best known mathematical puzzles is Archimedes Cattle Problem, which was not completely solved until 1965. In this talk I will present the long history of this problem, and its influence on number theory, especially on the Pell Equation. I will also be presenting my own thoughts on this problem together with some materials that I recently came across.
