Infection has been, and will always, be a major concern in medicine. Join us to learn more about three pioneers in the field of infection control: Louis Pasteur, Joseph Lister and Ignaz Semmelweis. They all contributed to the concept of both a sterile field and sterile post-surgical care, thus saving many lives during the course of their lifetimes, and countless numbers ever since.
