Cedars Sinai Program in the History of Medicine
Dr. Elias Aboujaoude will present "Psychiatry, circa 2023: Back to the Future” in Harvey Morse Conference Room 4&5 and on Zoom. As always, CME credit will be available.
Dr. Aboujaoude is the associate director of the Cedars-Sinai Center for the Arts and Humanities in Medicine and a clinical professor of psychiatry at Stanford University. This lecture will focus on the promise and pitfalls of the biotechnological revolution that has marked the behavioral health field starting about a decade ago and, more dramatically, since the pandemic. His books include Virtually You: The Dangerous Powers of the e-Personality and the forthcoming How Leaders Happen: Why Psychology, Personality and Character Make All the Difference.
