Damon Yarnell is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of History and Sociology of Science at the University of Pennsylvania and a 2008-2009 PACHS Dissertation Writing Fellow. His topic is "Motor City: Ford, Mass Production and the Industrial Ecology of Detroit, 1908-1927." His paper will be posted here in late April, for downloading and reading in advance of the colloquium.
