Dora Vargha awarded AAHM's J. Worth Estes Prize

Congratulations to Dora Vargha (2010-2011 Dissertation Research Fellow, 2015-2016 Research Fellow), who has recently been awarded the 2016 J. Worth Estes Prize of the American Association for the History of Medicine for her paper, "Between East and West: Polio Vaccination Across the Iron Curtain in Cold War Hungary," Bulletin of the History of Medicine 88 (2) Summer 2014. The J. Worth Estes Prize is awarded for the best published article in the history of pharmacology. Dora is currently organizing a conference in London in late May titled After the End of Disease, for which she received a Wellcome Trust Small Grant.
