The Harvard and Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics is seeking applicants for a grant-funded internship. The six month opportunity is part of the Figures in the Sky initiative which will focus on the astronomical heritage of Black and Indigenous peoples in order to elevate their voices and to "normalize" their inclusion while undercutting white supremacy in scientific discourse.
Applicants enrolled in graduate programs in history, sociology, and other closely related fields are encouraged to apply. This is a 14 hour/week position and is compensated at $21.00/hr. The position has the option to be fully remote.
